Wine Tourism :
stay a little longer at Chateau de Ferrand
- Château de Ferrand is committed to the principles of sustainable development, adopting a responsible approach not just during the production and vinification processes, but also in its business philosophy and its actions that affect fellow citizens. This is why such care is taken to preserve the expertise of the employees, the key ingredient in Ferrand’s successful quality policy and highly renowned wines.
The owners of Château de Ferrand take great pride in protecting the estate’s exceptional heritage, developing sustainable efforts to assure its future on a daily basis, such as preserving the rich biodiversity of Ferrand’s grounds.
- A significant part of the estate is non-viticultural land with almost 10 hectares of woodland, fields and a park of ancient tree species.
Fully aware of its rich heritage and in an effort to contribute to the development of the region, the Château aims to be an open and inviting place. Walkers can freely access the grounds and the Château is happy to host school trips to enrich the knowledge of younger generations and to help them discover the estate’s rich heritage – which is also theirs.
Recent refurbishments have included the installation of facilities enhancing access for visitors with limited mobility.
